I had an appointment with dentists of vista on thursday july 10th. I went in and met with Jeannette. She took care of all my check in papers and made sure everything was ready to go. She was super nice and really professional. I was sitting in an xray chair in no time. Then the second person i met was SOFIA. Now mind you my mouth top and bottom have been swollen for three days. When we did the xrays it would sometime really hurt and instead of her just making me push through it , she would stop to make sure i felt comfortable and wasnt in pain due to the tools needed for the xray. I didnt know how much i needed to have done to my mouth until the price came in . Now my smile is important to me. So it hurt to see the damage. Mind you i have no insurance so the numbers just blew my mind and i started crying. The third person i met was the office manager KAREN. Karen comes into the office and asks me why i was crying and i explain that it was alot of money and some financial burdens im already in before coming here. I just couldnt stop crying cause everything needed to be done. I want healthy teeth. She told me to give her a chance to see what they could offer me and help see what i qualify for. Im still sitting here crying cause i just had my doubts that i was not going to be able to walk out of here without starting a journey to a healthier smile. She completely sat with me the whole time and helped me out to the fullest. She also helped me qualify for care credit. Which at this time i begin to cry again because i know last time i tried that i got approved for a very low amount years ago. So panic sets in she helped me with everything we click the submit button and i just happen to look down in just shear fear. When i just hear her finally say "LOOK AT THAT YOU GOT APPROVED FOR THE WHOLE AMOUNT" . TEARS OF JOY NOW REPLACED THE ONES OF FEAR AND I COULD JUST STOP THANKING HER. THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH EVERYTHING THEY DID FOR ME MADE ME SOO HAPPY. FINALLY my hygienist comes Mariana. She was amazing. Told me everything she was going to do. She numbed my mouth first before receiving my first shot ever of novocaine. She always made sure i was comfortable. We waited a lil before she asked if i could feel anything. Than began to clean my teeth. She told me if i ever feel like i needed a break or can start to feel discomfort to let her know. There was a couple of times i felt discomfort and she would numb the gums with numbing gel and would go to a different section until that part would numb up a little bit more. Then she would later go back. Always making me feel comfortable was top tier for me. Any question i had she would answer without hesitation. I have never felt so taken care of in my life by any type of doctor. They made me feel heard and seen and to me that means everything. These women are so amazing and i am so proud of how they took care of me, I Thank them so much . I would recommend this office to everyone i know. The quality of service here is just top tier. Thank you Dentists of Vista for everything you have done for me.
